Call of Duty: Black Ops

Rate:

One of my favorite games is Call of Duty: Black Ops. Call of Duty is a very popular first-person shooter. According to Matt from  Call of Duty is awesome and he said a lot of positive things about the game. I agree with almost everything he said in his blog. For example, he said “Each mission plays out so well and contains so much excitement that I can firmly say this is my favorite Call of Duty campaign to date”, and I agree completely. In the first 24 hours that this game went on sale, they broke the record set by Modern Warfare 2 by selling 7 million copies. They ended up getting up to 1 billion in sales within a week.

There are many options on the beginning screen. People can either play the campaign, zombies, or multiplayer. My favorite part of the game is zombies because it’s awesome and fun to play with friends. In zombies, the point is to get to the highest level without dying. The farthest I’ve ever made it was to level 19 but that was because I was on two player and my brother’s good at it. I didn’t like the multiplayer as much in Black Ops because the guns are harder to aim with. But I did like all of the newer levels because they are more complex and detailed.
The campaign in this game is a lot better from the campaign in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 because it is a lot longer and it has a more interesting storyline. The storyline is mainly about the Cold War. The story starts out with a Russian spy named Alex who is being interrogated because they want to know where the number station is. Then the rest of the single-player storyline is flash backs from 1961 through 1968 and it shows all of the things he went through during the war.
I rated this game a 4 out of 5 because of how entertaining it is but it just gets a little boring after a while.
